What KAM is — and what it is not

Plain statements, in one place, so there's never a doubt.

Have KAM's output reviewed by a CPA before acting on it.

KAM is a virtual representation of a CPA's review methodology — it is not a CPA, and its analysis is generated by software. Any finding, proposed journal entry, or recommendation should be reviewed with a licensed CPA or other qualified professional before you rely on it or act on it. If you'd like human, in-person assistance, contact RISE Consulting Group — the practice behind KAM's methodology.

KAM is software.

It does not provide an audit, a review, a compilation, or any attestation engagement as those terms are defined by professional standards. It does not provide tax opinions or legal opinions. Its output is management-use analysis based solely on the information you provide.

No guaranteed detection.

KAM applies systematic checks, but no automated system finds every error, and KAM does not guarantee error detection or business outcomes. Findings marked high-confidence are held to a high precision standard; they are still subject to your confirmation.

Journal entries are proposals.

Every proposed entry balances and shows its assumptions, evidence, and confidence — and every entry requires review by someone qualified before posting. KAM never posts to your accounting system.

Compliance items are awareness flags.

Entity-related findings (such as S corporation owner-compensation review) are matters requiring confirmation with your accountant, tax professional, payroll provider, attorney, or regulator. KAM does not assert noncompliance and does not compute “reasonable compensation” figures — no software responsibly can.

Forecasts are planning scenarios.

Base, upside, and downside projections are estimates derived from your historical data using documented methods. They are labeled as estimates everywhere they appear and are never predictions or assurances.

Reports are not individually reviewed.

KAM's reports are generated by software built from the review methodology of Kam Karamshahi, CPA — they are not personally prepared or reviewed by him or by RISE Consulting Group. If you want human eyes on your results, you can book a prepaid one-hour session with a fractional CFO — Kam himself — to walk through your findings together as a separately contracted RISE engagement. When human professional services make sense, the product says so explicitly.
